Welcome to the website of James Wei Photography. James Wei is an amateur affordable photographer in Melbourne. From this website, you can see the following things:
Myself
Hakka heritage, born in Taiwan. A keen hiker with Dad for many years before picking up photography.
My first film SLR is Canon EOS 650 with a standard kit lens. This is followed by a Canon EOS 3 four years later with successive additions of 12 L canon lenses: primes and zooms included. The enthusiastism did not wean but grow with a lifestyle devoted to photography in multiple areas: Travel, Candids, Landscape and Studio copyworks.
After 12 years of film experience, it was hard to resist the current standard of DSLR products. Canon 20D was my first DSLR camera following by 12 L lens additions to my gear crew. Then Pentax k10D and its own army of great * and limited lenses join my tool collection as well. The switch to Pentax earned me new friends and peers in which many of the serious and professional photographers have further improved my photography.
This website is a private space that will illustrate my milestones of learning in photography and assist in anyone who might acquire my service in the future.
I hope you enjoy this site.
